Mother’s Day celebration

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 13th and it’s a time to say thanks for all the things your mother does for you.

Florafino’s Flower Market owner, Greg Orofino, said the shop is getting ready for one of the busiest floral holidays of the year. He said you should always thank your mom but, this is a day that you should do something extra special for mom.

“Everybody’s got a mother and if you don’t take care of mom you’re in trouble. Grab something, anything that mom will like. You want to be welcome when you come home for dinner at night,” said Orofino.

Orofino said mom’s do so much for each of us. He said they are there for us and this holiday is truly special to him.

“My mom had passed years ago, to me it’s a more personal issue. My stepmom is my mom for years and she is a treasure. I revere moms. Mom’s are so important to everything we do in life,” said Orofino.

Orofino said getting anything, whether its flowers or something else, will make your mom’s day.
