Motorcycle Crash Leave 1 Man Injured

A Newark man is sent to the hospital this afternoon after an accident on State Route 541.

It happened just after 1 p.m.

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office says Allan Myers was driving a 2005 Honda Superhawk eastbound when he lost control of his motorcycle. It says he went off the right side of the road and was ejected.

Myers was wearing a helmet but was flown by Medflight to Grant Medical Center in Columbus for his injuries. He is listed in fair condition.

The Sheriff’s Office says speed was a factor in the accident.
