ZANESVILLE, OH – The Motorcycle Show at Colony Square Mall has been underway for the past couple of days, and the community has come out to take part.

There were a variety of motorcycles on display from a multitude of different organizations. The bikes are placed all throughout the mall, so at any point while shopping, visitors can see unique bikes on display no matter the store.

Rushing Wind Biker Church Pastor Michael McGuire says the event is about more than just motorcycles.

“Oh well, we’re here to Colony Square, this weekend, and we’re here for Saturday and Sunday, and we love coming here. And the invite to be able to come here and put together some motorcycles to help the Colony Square Mall, maybe to bring in some folks to see the motorcycles and also to come in and shop because, you know, there’s a several reasons why we do it. We love being able to serve the community. And this is one way that we can serve the community by helping other businesses”, stated McGuire.

The purpose of the event is to bring the community together, but also to give people a chance to meet bikers and talk about their passion with others.

McGuire says the event allows riders and visitors to connect in a meaningful way.

“Well, here at the mall with the various motorcycle clubs, riding clubs, biker enthusiasts that are here that have brought their bikes in to be seen, it gives us an opportunity to meet people. They get an opportunity to ask us questions about our motorcycles and what we do and where we ride, and some of the things that we do concerning our clubs. We try to do what we can with all of the bikers that are here, and some of the bikers that aren’t represented here are great, great, wonderful people. And they also do some great things in the community.”

If you want to see the bikes on display, there is still one more day for the event, which continues tomorrow during Colony Square Mall hours.
