Motorcyclist Leads Coshocton Co. Sheriff’s Office on High Speed Chase

Coshocton County- An 18-year-old is under arrest in Coshocton County after leading police on a chase that spanned three counties and reached speeds of 125mph.

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office said Tristan Gallagher-Bufkin now faces charges.

The pursuit began around 6:20pm Tuesday when a deputy observed a motorcycle on US 36 traveling at a high rate of speed. The deputy followed the motorcycle onto State Route 93 where it passed numerous vehicles on a double yellow line. A pursuit began traveling in West Lafayette, through Plainfield and into Guernsey County.

The motorcycle eventually traveled onto State Route 77 where the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the pursuit along with the Ohio State Patrol. They lost sight of the motorcycle as it entered into Noble County where Noble County Sheriff’s Office were waiting to assist.
