Multiple Drug Busts in Zanesville

The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office is conducting multiple drug busts across the city of Zanesville.

Sheriff Matt Lutz says they executed a search warrant at 1262 Central Avenue shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. At the same time the served a warrant at an undisclosed location in the city and they will possibly be searching a third home tonight.

"We can’t release a lot of details due to the nature of this investigation. It’s a lot bigger than the ones we usually are doing," says Lutz.

Lutz says they took K-9 Drako through the home on Central and are beginning a more thorough search of the home. He says three people have been taken into custody for questioning.
