Murder/Suicide in Licking County

The Licking County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a murder/suicide.

The Sheriff’s Office reports it happened at a home on South High Street in Croton around 8:25 p.m. Tuesday.
 

Authorities say when deputies arrived on the scene they found 34-year-old Mary Johnson and her boyfriend Timothy Combs dead in an upstairs bedroom. Both died from a single gunshot wound.
 

Detectives say it appears that Combs shot Johnson and then shot himself.
