Murphy USA Robbed

.The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Sunday evening robbery.  Captain Jeff LeCocq says it happened at 6:45 at the Murphy USA gas station at 2856 Maysville Pike.  LeCocq says a white male wearing a hoodie with cloth on his face walked into the business and demanded money.  The clerk says no handgun was seen but it appeared the suspect had a weapon.  LeCocq says the bandit fled on foot.  No vehicle was used in the incident.  Sheriff’s deputies brought in their K-9 unit but it was not successful.  Anyone who may have information on this incident is asked to call the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office.
