Muskies and Colts win first tournament games

NEW CONCORD, Ohio – Both the John Glenn Little Muskies and Meadowbrook Colts opened tournament play on Friday and rolled to victories to advance to the next round.

The defending state champions Little Muskie won at home against MVL foe Philo 56-41. Justin Heacock had 18 points in the win. The Muskies advance to play Maysville at home on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

The Colts of Meadowbrook rolled in their first tourament game beating West Holmes 90-54. The second seeded Colts will play East Liverpool on Tuesday as well.
