Muskies Honored At Ohio Statehouse

The John Glenn Muskie basketball team was honored by State Representative Brian Hill (R-Zanesville) and Senator Troy Balderson in Columbus this afternoon an Ohio House session on their state championship season.

“I am honored to be able to present this resolution to the Muskies and to have such a great team representing New Concord and the 97th House District,” Rep. Hill stated in an official press release.

John Glenn finished the season 28-1, with their only loss coming against out-of-state competition. The Muskies defeated St. Vincent-St. Mary 76-72 for their first state championship in school history and the first team from the MVL to capture a state title since 1975.
