Muskies Relishing State Championship Win

The John Glenn Muskies are enjoying their time as state champions after one of the toughest seasons in program history.  The Muskies have had to deal with adversity throughout the entire season, but came together as a team when it mattered most.  John Glenn finished the regular season 19-1 with their only loss of the season coming against Linden High School during this year’s KSA in Florida.  The Muskies never looked back and dominated postseason play.  After two straight losses in the regional final, John Glenn finally came on top this season against DeSales 70-50.  The Muskies finally earned their trip to the Schottenstein Center, beating Bay in the semifinal game.  John Glenn would then have a rematch with #3 St. Vincent-St. Mary.  Thanks to free throws and selfless basketball, the Muskies earned their first state championship.
