Muskingum Behavioral Health Restarts Popular Program

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-The Muskingum Behavioral Health Center is restarting its popular Friends and Family program.
The program aims to help those affected by drug addiction as well as their loved ones. The program had to be put on hold due to COVID.
“We deal with such things as codependency, how do I help, when do I stop helping. It’s open to the public and takes place Wednesdays at 6 pm, directly across the street from Muskingum Behavioral Health on West Main,” said Recovery Coach Jon Adams.
The importance of the program was never lost on the staff. Now that they have found a large venue they feel safe holding meetings again.
“MBH had to take a step back from Family and Friends during the initial COVID pandemic, and we just feel like we have secured a meeting place with adequate room for social distancing. We will be wearing masks and sanitizing as well,” Adams continued.
