Muskingum County Blue Ribbon Fair wrap-up

ZANESVILLE, OH- The final day of the Muskingum County Blue Ribbon Fair is underway.
This year’s fair drew in large crowds of people from all over the area to enjoy all that the Muskingum County Fair has to offer. From fun entertainment in the grandstands to delicious food, there was never a dull moment.
“We’ve had a fabulous week, the weather has been very cooperative, we’ve had a few sprinkles but nothing major, and our attendance has been extremely good,” said Muskingum County Fair Board President, Gail Deitrick.
This year marked the 178th year of the fair making it one of the longest running traditions in Muskingum County.
“Just seeing everybody come back together again, you know this is like a yearly event where I’ve heard so many conversations saying, man I haven’t seen you since last year, and you know things like that, so just seeing the community come together and all of the organizations coming together and providing all the yummy food here at the fair and the volunteers that have been amazing in helping us get through all of our events,” said Deitrick.
The fair will return for another great season on August 10th through the 16th in 2025. To stay up to date with the latest fair information visit the Muskingum County Blue Ribbon Fair website.
