MCCF Opens Fall Grant Competition

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Muskingum County Community Foundation is now accepting applications for its 4th Annual Fall Grant Competition.

Nonprofit organizations with a vision to enhance the future of the community are encouraged to apply for funding aimed at capital improvement projects. Nonprofits must be based in Muskingum County and either be a 501 C3, a political subdivision or a school district.

“We’re looking to help support nonprofit organizations within Muskingum County. We really want to help those organizations that are on the ground doing the work that needs to be done for our residents,” MCCF Director of Programs Beth Fox said.

This year, the total grant pool is $50,000, and organizations can request up to $10,000 to fund their project. To help answer any questions, MCCF will be hosting “Coffee Talks” for interested organizations. No registration is required.

“The next big one is September 16th at Central Pike Coffee Company. Between 9 and 11 AM, a couple of us from the foundation will be down there answering questions about the grant process itself,” Fox said.

For more information or to submit an application, please visit the MCCF website. The deadline to submit an application is October 7th at 5 PM.
