Muskingum County Election Results

Residents of Muskingum County have re-elected James Porter to the position of County Commissioner. 

Porter defeated Democratic candidate Linda Regula by over 54 hundred votes. 

Both the Zanesville City School levy and Franklin Local School levy passed. Zanesville’s renewal levy was for 3.9 mills for 5 years and the Franklin Local levy was 2 mills for 5 years for permanent improvements. 

The Rambo Memorial Health Center’s levy for clinic funds passed as did the Muskingum County Library System.

Dresden voters also approved the sale of beer on Sunday’s at the Certified station.
