Muskingum County Fairgrounds Launch 50+ Expo and Farmers Market

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio- The Muskingum County Fairgrounds is having several events in the near future.
The Fairground is hosting an expo for adults over 50, with helpful resources and vendors on May 18th from 10am -2pm.
The event is free and will provide free lunch for the first 200 people.
The Blue Ribbon Farmers Market will also be returning on Saturday, April 30,Muskingum County Fair Board Vice President, Gail Deitrick, says that the county is excited for all the events.

“We love the farmers market. And we’re glad to be the original farmers market and be there, and be there every Saturday for the people to come get all their yummy goodies. And just to meet other people and have fun and hang out at the fairgrounds. So we’re really excited, and we’re really excited for the 50+ Expo to try something new this year. ”
The farmers market will be every Saturday until October 1st from 9am until 12 pm.
Member of the Muskingum County Fair Board, Jonna Sharp says that the farmers market will have a great variety of vendors and food.
“So you can get your fair food, your stromboli, your italian sausage, your corn dogs, french fries, cotton candy, lemonade, come enjoy the farmers market and get some good food.”
There are still vendor spots available for the farmers market for $20.
