Muskingum County Officials Addressing Storm Issues

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says the County is working on recovery efforts Saturday after Friday’s strong storms that caused severe damage.  The Sheriff says all roads in the county are passable, even though some may still have debris on them.  If you see a road that is blocked call the Sheriff”s Office and report it.  Muskngum County Emergency Management Agency Director Bo Keck says his team is addressing all the critical infrastructure issues like water wells for some area villages that are not operating.  Keck also says his office is working on finding locations for the public to dispose of trees, branches and other debris from the storms.  He says once they are established he will announce the locations.  Authorities are urging the public to use common sense when driving on county roads since there may be parts of some roadways blocked due to tree damage.
