Prouty Endorsed by Muskingum Co. Republican Committee

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Muskingum County Republican Committee has endorsed Drake Prouty as their candidate for the upcoming primary election.
Prouty, who is currently serving as a trustee in Cass Township and has previously held a trustee position in another township within Muskingum County, is ready to bring his extensive experience to the Muskingum County Commissioner’s Office.
“I was the endorsed republican by the committee which was a very prestigious honor for me to get that endorsement. I want to make sure that I don’t let my colleagues and my peers down. I want to make sure that the commissioner’s office is the front line for our county. I want to make sure our residents, our seniors, our veterans and our children have a wonderful place to work, live, and raise a family,” Prouty said.
Prouty highlighted his intention to utilize his experience in public service to excel in the commissioner’s office. He aims to focus on areas crucial for the county’s advancement including economic growth and development.
“The next ten years are going to define our county. We have a lot of economic growth coming in this area, but I also want to take care of the businesses that have been established here and continue that working relationship with them to help them succeed. Retention of employees is top priority on my list as commissioner,” Prouty said.
The Primary election will be on March 19th. Prouty will be running against Tony Coury and Gene Tahyi.
