Muskingum County Welcome Center to Host Live2Lead Event

ZANESVILLE, OHA new leadership experience is set to take place in Zanesville on Friday.

Live2Lead is a half-day leadership development experience featuring multiple keynote speakers and local community leaders. The event is designed for leaders at all levels and provides valuable tools for success and actionable insights attendees can take back to their workplace with them.

“In this day and age, a lot of people are trying to figure out where we’re going and what we’re doing,” Miles’ Mission President Dr. Michael Bullock said, “Live2Lead gives a lot of leadership principles, we’ve got some great speakers locally as well as nationally that provide insights on leadership and it’s not just for people who are running organizations, it can be a teacher, a parent, a small group in a church, just whoever has an opportunity to lead kids, lead people, lead your home whatever it is there’s something for everybody.”

While Live2Lead is new to the Zanesville community, it has been an event around the country for years, the event is in partnership with Leadership Muskingum and Miles’ Mission.

“Leadership Muskingum helps with community leaders, we have a class every year,” Leadership Muskingum Chair Member Heather Dolen said. “They meet 9 months out of the year to learn about the community, to learn about networking and leadership so this is something added to that Leadership Muskingum class that we can hopefully carry on from here on out.”

If you’re interested in attending Live2Lead, doors open at 8 am on Friday February 21st at the Muskingum County Welcome Center, you can register at mccf.org for just 25 dollars which includes admission and lunch.
