Muskingum Cty To Hold Surplus Auction

Muskingum County will soon be having an auction for unwanted items.

It’s usually held once, sometimes twice a year and will feature items that are not usable by the county anymore.

"There will be automobiles from the Sheriff’s Office, there will be various equipment maybe filing cabinets, desks, chairs, just lots of surplus items from many different county agencies," said Muskingum County Commissioner Brian Hill.

All money raised will go right back to the various county agencies where the items came from.

"If we have people from Center for Seniors or Children’s Services which are levy operated, those funds go back to them.
