Muskingum Valley Old Timers Association Inducts 36th Hall of Fame Class

ZANESVILLE, OH – After seventy-plus years, the Muskingum Valley Old Timers Association (MVOTA) has had a strong impact on youth baseball in the local area. Now it honors those who helped make things possibly by inducting its 36th hall of fame class.

“The inductees have gone above and beyond what the MVOTA likes to see” says commissioner Patrick Bollinger. “This is one way of us giving back to them by inducting them into our hall of fame.”

Those honored were Mike Young, Ryan Bernath, Judge Bill Joseph, The Littick Family, and the 2016 Muskingum Valley Old Timers Junior Pioneers.

Bernath says, “It’s an important role that we play in the development of a child. Sports fill a gap, they teach you a lot of life lessons that are really important.”

Bernath also noted that the goal of the MVOTA is to provide opportunities for as many kids in local areas as possible.

It’s rare to have one’s name cemented forever, so congratulations to those on the great honor of being a hall of famer.
