MVHC to Receive Additional Federal Funding

The Muskingum Valley Health Centers now have some additional federal funding heading their way.

Senator Sherrod Brown said they will be receiving $1,083,333 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. It’s a part of more than $7.2 million heading to various health centers here in Ohio.

The funding was made available through the health law, which boosted funding for community health centers’ primary and preventative care services. The Health Center New Access Point (NAP) program provides grants to new and existing health centers to increase access to health care services across the country.
