MVL, Licking Valley Represented Well at Division Two State Track Meet

DAYTON, OH

Nearby at Welcome Stadium in Dayton, a big crowd on hand for the state track meet. We got to start off in the boys shot put, and a nice performance by Licking Valley senior Tanner Croak, as that throw would advance him to the final round. Off of this throw, he would finish fourth on the medal stand.

Next we head to the boys high jump. Another talented senior, this time from Coshocton, as Aiden Braxton cleared six feet, four inches to finish sixth in the final round. And then finally, we head to the podium for the girls discus throw, well-represented by the MVL. Maysville’s Bella Van Wey finished fourth while Sheridan’s Lily Dennis placed seventh with a throw of 128 feet, 9 inches.

Other track meet results from the MVL. Van Wey also participated in the girls shot put, finishing fourth at 40 feet, 11 and three quarters inches. Then in the girls pole vault, congratulations to John Glenn’s Brayden Snider, finishing first, clearing the bar, at an even 12 feet.
