MVL Wins Third Straight All-Star Game over LCL, in 40-26 Shootout
NEW LEXINGTON, OH
They were coming through the smoke and of course, the meeting at the middle pregame. First quarter for the MVL, How about Sheridan quarterback Caden Sheridan rolling out to his right, linking up with Maysville’s Wesley Armstead for the early first down. Then later on in the drive, the ball is going to go to Coshocton’s Riley Woodie, who just stretches across the goal line to open the scoring.
How about a little later on, great special teams coverage coming up from the LCL. Off the muffed punt, look at all the red jerseys absolutely swarm the ball. And that’s going to set up great field position late in the quarter. And you know the LCL made sure to capitalize on the drive. How about Heath quarterback Brayden Bales. He just keeps it himself for six. But the MVL made it a high-scoring game in the end, winning it 40 to 26 for the third straight all-star victory.
