National Road Military Antique Show

ZANESVILLE, OH- The National Road Military Antique Show took place at the Zanesville Municipal Airport alongside the 24th Annual EAA Fly-In and Drive-In.
Dealers from all around the United States brought historical items to display and sell, offering a unique experience for those interested in military history.
“It’s always interesting, we’re fortunate to have a good bit of support, there are dealers here from Florida, North Carolina, New York, Ohio, West Virginia, Indiana, Illinois, lots of surrounding states, good friends, good, interesting historical memorabilia,” said National Road Military Antique Show organizer, Mike Willey.
The show featured items such as uniforms, books, weapons, medals, supply boxes and more. It served as a reminder of the value of preserving history and understanding the stories behind these items.
“I would just say anything you can do to preserve history; you know if you have memorabilia, people throw stuff away every day that they probably shouldn’t throw away because they don’t know what to do with it or it’s in the way, don’t throw anything away, document everything, keep things together, kind of preserve the history for future generations,” said Willey.
The National Road Military Antique Show will return in conjunction with the EAA Fly-In and Drive-In again next year. For more information, please visit the National Road Military Antique Show Facebook page.
