New Concord Man Going To Prison For Stabbing

A New Concord man is going to prison in connection with a stabbing incident. The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office says that 26-year old David Phillips was sentenced to 18 months in prison by Judge Mark Fleegle. Phillips was arrested on February 1st when authorities say he was arguing with his wife at their home and stabbed her brother during an altercation. In April Phillips pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated assault and domestic violence.
