New Lex’s Russell Chooses Muskingum

New Lex three-sport standout Collin Russell will continue his basketball career at Muskingum University. The recent graduate also received interest from Tiffin, Marietta and Ohio Dominican.

Russell averaged 15 points, 8 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2 steals in his senior season. He earned 10 varsity letter over the course of his high school career and picked up first-team all-MVL honors in basketball, football and baseball.

Russell was one of just 10 athletes to earn academic all-Ohio honors in Division II boys’ basketball this past season along with Sheridan’s Luke Fox.
