New Sheriff in Morgan County

There is a new Sheriff in town in Morgan County.  Republican Douglas McGrath was elected as the county’s top lawman after he beat James Fisher in Tuesday night’s election.  McGrath will replace longtime Sheriff Tom Jenkins who is retiring.  There was also a race for County Commissioner and democrat Adam Shriver beat republican Richard Welsh.  One of the bigger issue on the ballot – for mental health services was easily passed by voters.
