Newark Mother and Child Located

Newark Police say they have located a woman wanted by authorities after concern over the safety of her child.

Police say 24-year-old Amanda Hansen was arrested Tuesday on a probation holder warrant out of Licking County Municipal Court.
 

Her 5-year-old daughter Laura  was also found and turned over to Children Services.
 

Authorities were also trying to locate Hansen’s boyfriend Matthew Smith but he remains at large.
 

Smith has an active arrest warrant for failure to appear for an arraignment on a domestic violence charge.
 

Anyone with information on Smith’s whereabouts should contact  Newark police.
