Newark Police investigating recent burglaries

NEWARK, Ohio—Newark Police Detectives are looking for information related to recent burglaries in the city.

The Newark Division of Police is asking for assistance from anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of individuals responsible for numerous home burglaries in the area of Central Avenue, Eddy Street, Buckingham Street as well as the North and North East part of the city.

Police are also asking any person or business who has received a $2.00 bill in the past 24 hours to contact  Detective Conley at (740) 349- 1501.
