Northpointe Drive Opened to Traffic

After being closed for several months,Northpointe Drive in Muskingum County is back open to traffic.

The Engineer’s Office announced that at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday,  the road officially opened for the winter.
 

The portion of roadway between Richvale Road and McGlade School Road was closed in September to repair a major slip in the roadway.
 

Officials say an additional 150 feet below the slip area will be re-evaluated and could require work in the Spring of 2012.
 

The road may have to be closed for an undetermined amount of time after the evaluation takes place
