OAZ Players of the Game

The high school basketball season got underway last Friday and it was action packed. The first week of the Orthopedic Associates of Zanesville Players of the Game have been announced.

The player of the game on Z92 is Maysville’s Alex Bobb. He had a 30 point performance against Bishop Rosecrans in the season opener. Bobb scored 24 of those points on three pointers alone. He is closing in on the school’s all-time scoring record.

The Highway 103 player of the game is New Lexington’s Bentley Hanson. He had 19 points and 7 rebounds in a 59-21 win against Meadowbrook last Friday. The Panthers went onto beat Nelsonville-York on Tuesday 60-41 to improve to 2-0 on the year. They will play on Friday at home against John Glenn.
