OAZ Players of the Game

The high school basketball stars were shining last week in our area. Today we announce the Orthopedic Associates of Zanesville Players of the week.

Starting out on highway 103, West Muskingum’s Cade Porter had an impressive statline in the Tornadoes 19 point win against the Meadowbrook Colts on Friday. Porter finished the game with 6 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals. West M is 5-5 on the season.

The player of the game on Z 92 is Jordyn Watson. The sophomore forward had the best game of his young career for the Maysville Panthers. Watson had a double-double performance racking up a career high 24 points and 10 rebounds. Head Coach Dave Brown said Watson was in the gym at 6 a.m. and it appears that early work paid off. The Panthers racked up another win on Tuesday downing the Philo Electrics.

AM1240’s player of the game was Kooper Cain. He had 8 points, 4 rebounds in loss to New Philadelphia. The Blue Devils are 2-5 on the year.
