Ohio Crime Victim Justice Center founder speaks to Zanesville Noon Rotary

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness month the founder of Ohio Crime Victim Justice Center spoke to Zanesville noon Rotarians.
Cathy Harper Lee is the founder of the justice center. Lee spoke to rotarians about a new resource she just launched called the Crime Victims Rights Tool Kit.
“The victims rights tool kit a the first in the nation,” Lee said. “It provides crime victims information about their rights and gives them tools to help them excise their rights.”
Lee said what’s unique about this tool is it serves all types of crime victims.
“It’s federal crime victim or a an Ohio crime victim the rights will be there. It is so simple a victim can go on, look up basic information the age of the victim, the type of crime, where or not the defendant is a juvenile or an adult. They just hit search and the tool kit will return rights specific to their circumstance,” Lee said.
Lee said the tool kit helps victims understand their rights.
