‘Ohio Means Jobs’ job fair

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Ohio Means Jobs Muskingum County is looking for employers to be part of it’s job fair at the Colony Square Mall.

Ohio Means Jobs Supervisor Julie Metzger said they are reaching out to local companies hiring to be a part of their job fair. She said it’s a great opportunity for companies to interview multiple candidates in one convenient location.

“They can do interviewing on that spot. A lot of times, they will do job offers on the spot. So, it benefits not only the employer and the job seeker both,” said Metzger.

Metzger is hoping to have between 35 and 40 employers. She said any type of industry is welcome to be part of the Job Fair.

“We’ve got distribution, clerical, seasonal positions that could go from seasonal to permanent. We’ve got calls coming in but, we just want to reach out to employers that maybe have not heard about it yet so we can get them registered as soon as possible,” said Metzger.

Companies who are hiring and looking for employees can contact Ohio Means Jobs at 740-454-6211. The deadline to register is April 10th by noon. The Job fair will run from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. on April 12th.
