Ohio State Shooting Championship Concludes
The Ohio State Shooting Championship came to a close tonight and the winner has been named.
David Radulovich took the trophy with an overall score of 192. While this man didn’t take the top spot, Master Class Shooter Daniel Harvey said the weekend has been an experience he won’t soon forget and he recommends it to anyone.
“They should come out and try it,” said Harvey. “There’s a lot of ladies, a lot of juniors. That’s what we do with this sport. We try to promote it for kids to get everybody involved in it, show them that guns aren’t as bad as everybody thinks they are. ”
Harvey has taken his fair share of trophies home. He’s been shooting for sport for 23 years. He explained where his passion for the sport started.
“I love it, very addicting sport, very nice. It’s the most fun you can have with a shot-gun,” said Harvey. “I heard about it when I was younger. I went out and there’s was a couple courses around the hometown, local. I went out and started shooting and it’s up hill from there, new guns, more shells and getting involved, traveling the United States to shoot.”
Harvey traveled from his home in Pennsylvania to shoot in the tournament. He said he enjoyed his time meeting fellow shooters in the buckeye state.
