Oler Sentencing Thursday
A Tri-Valley bus driver involved in an accident that killed 6-year-old Kasey King last June will learn her sentence Thursday in Muskingum County Court.
48-year-old Carol Oler entered a no contest plea to charges of vehicular manslaughter and failure to control and was found guilty by Judge Jay Vinsel in February. For her plea a vehicular homicide charge was dropped.
Oler faces a maximum ninety days in jail on the vehicular manslaughter charge, while the failure to control charge carries a maximum $150.00 fine.
Oler remains on unpaid administrative leave with the Tri-Valley School District.
Her sentencing is Thursday at 10 a.m.
