One Dead and Several Injured in US 33 Accident

One person is dead and four people are taken to the hospital after a crash on US 33 at Bowen Road.

The Lancaster Post of the State Highway patrol said that  around 10:40 p.m. Monday, 21-year-old Timothy Sater of Logan was traveling west on US 33 when he struck a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Michael Anderson of Grove City, who was pulling away from a stop sign onto US 33 west.

Anderson was ejected from his vehicle when it overturned.

Sater was taken to Diley Ridge Medical Center. Two occupants in Anderson’s vehicle were transported to Grant Medical Center and one to Nationwide Children’s hospital. Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a safety belt at the time of the crash which remains under investigation.
