ZANESVILLE, Ohio – An organization is holding a fundraiser to give to Christ’s Table.

The Zane Trace National Trail Model Railroad Club is holding an Open House so people can look at their model trains. However that’s not all. Executive Director of Christ’s Table Keely Warden said Z.T.N.T. and Jim Black are also holding the Rod’s and Ribs Car Show with proceeds going to Christ’s Table.

“We’re doing another Rods and Ribs Car Show in the back parking lot on Seventh street behind the Christ’s Table and we’re welcoming the people to come, enter your car, or just kind of look,” Warden said. “Of course since it’s at Christ’s Table we’ll have delicious food, thus the ribs we’re going to have some ribs and some bean soup.”

The Open house will be April 1, 2017 starting on the second floor in Christ’s Table’s building at 1:30 P.M. and the Car Show will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the Seventh street parking lot and will run until 5:00 P.M. Warden said this is the second Rods and Ribs event that they’ve co-hosted and the first was amazing.

“Community partners are so important when you’re trying to do, what you do every day,” Warden said. “We’re serving the public a hot meal every day. So when someone comes to us and says they want to do a fundraiser for us. We’re so thankful.”

For those wanting to enter a car in the show or just want to attend are encouraged to bring boxed and or canned food to donate to Christ’s Table. Warden even explained that one dollar can provide four meals at Christ’s Table.
