Organizers Gear up for the Hancock Jr. High School Reunion
ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Organizers are gearing up for the Hancock Jr. High Reunion.
Members of the class reunion committee met Thursday at Veterans of Foreign Wars in Zanesville to discuss the party details. Bob Mercer said this will be the second time they’ve held this reunion at the VFW since the first one in 2013.
"Our concern is that we’ve sent out our invitations to everyone so, if you haven’t received an invitation you’re not going to get one so we have limited seating and we want to encourage everyone who is wanting to come to make a reservation," said Mercer.
The reunion will take place at the VFW on August 6th. Mercer said they are expecting nearly 500 people in attendance of all ages.
"Hancock Jr. High school closed a number of years ago I think back in the 80s. We have a real cross section, we have folks that would be in their 80s and some that would be in their 40s. Anyone is welcome it’s all about getting the opportunity to see and talk to friends you haven’t seen in many many years," said Mercer.
To RSVP all you have to do is make a $10 check out to the Hancock Reunion Committee and mail it to the address below:
