Orthopaedics Associates of Zanesville Congratulate Players of the Game

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Orthopaedics Associates of Zanesville is sponsoring WHIZ’s Player of the Game spotlight each week, and this week one of the three featured local footballers is Jalen Goins-Chandler of Tri Valley.

He is #3 for the Tri Valley Scotties. He’s a junior defensive back wide receiver and the Orthopaedic Associates of Zanesville were happy to wish their congratulations to Jalen. 

“Congratulations to Jalen Goins-Chandler, 179 yards total receiving and four touchdowns. He’s our player of the week,” Dr. Brad Brautigan, a partner at Zanesville Orthopaedic Associates stated.

Doctor Brautigan hopes that the athletes recognized as Player of the Game realize the honor it is to achieve such a distinction.  

“Hopefully it means a lot, you know being recognized as player of the week is no small feat. There are a lot of players in the Muskingum Valley league and so being one chosen is a nice honor,” Dr. Brautigan said.

The other players recognized as player of the game are New Lexington’s #7, Hunter Kellogg; and Big Walnut’s #7 Nate Severs. Stay tuned tomorrow for WHIZ’s Friday high school football coverage.
