Patrol Post Moves Locations

The Ohio State Highway Patrol Post in Fairfield County has moved. It can now be found on State Route 188, near the recently constructed US 33 Bypass.

Lieutenant Gary Lewis says because US 33 is a highly traveled road to and from Columbus, this location change gives troopers better access to the road. It also will ensure that the patrol can provide assistance to drivers at a quicker rate.

The move has been a two-day process, and Lewis says he was hoping to have computer and radio equipment installed by the end of the day.
