Peanut Sale Raises Over $18,000

The final numbers are in from this year’s Kiwanis Club Peanut Sale.

Club President Bruce Lee said that they raised over $18,000 that will be used on Kiwanis Youth-Oriented projects such as a Christmas party for low income children and sponsorship of the special riders horseback riding program for the disabled.

This year’s fundraiser beat their goal by $2,000 and was $3,000 over last year’s total.

Members exchange packets of peanuts in exchange for donations at local businesses and on street corners.
