Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle in Coshocton County

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an accident where a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Monday afternoon.

At approximately 3:51 p.m. the sheriff’s office received a 911 call of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle in the 22000 block of State Route 751. Upon investigation,  the sheriff’s office found that a vehicle being driven by Joel Styer of Newcomerstown was traveling eastbound on S.R. 751 when Allen Henderson of West Lafayette walked into the lane of travel.

Mr. Henderson was flown from the scene by MedFlight to Akron City Hospital with unknown injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
