Perry County Businessman Pleads Not Guilty To Rape Kidnapping
A New Lexington man was arraigned Tuesday on five different charges including rape and kidnapping.
Perry County Common Pleas Court Officials say 61-year-old Don Dutiel appeared in court and plead not guilty to rape, two counts of kidnapping, abduction and gross sexual imposition.
Dutiel, a Perry County businessman, was originally arrested in July of 2010 and charged with rape, but that charge was later dropped.
Last year Perry County Prosecutor Joe Flautt said the case could still be presented to a Grand Jury in the future.
The Ohio Attorney General’s Office has appointed special prosecutor Emily Pelphrey to the case.
