Perry County Man Found

The Perry County Sheriff’s Office has located a missing man.

After a search using a helicopter and K-9’s authorites were able to locate Shane Peterson of 9824 State Route 669 in Crooksville.

He was last seen Wednesday morning. Thursday night he was located after a helicopter spotted him swimming nude in a pond off of Old Rainer Road. Authorities called in Med Flight to take Peterson to the hospital.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Peterson appeared confused the last few days and was not wearing shoes.
