Perry County Man Injured in Accident

A Perry County man remains in critical condition following a crash Wednesday night.

The Lancaster Post of the State Highway Patrol said 30-year-old Johnathon Leach, of Junction City, was traveling east on Marietta Road around 9:15 p.m. when his vehicle traveled off the roadway. Leach lost control and traveled back onto the roadway, where it overturned.

The Patrol said Leach wasn’t wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken by Medflight to Ohio State University Medical Center.

The Patrol said that alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash which remains under investigation.
