Perry County Woman Still Looking For Answers A Year After Her Brother’s Disappearance

Koby Rousch

A Perry County woman is still searching for answers as to what happened to her younger brother who was last seen over a year ago.

Koby Rousch was last seen on July 5, 2020 and was last heard from during the early morning hours of July 6. Rousch’s sister, Danielle Dyer, said that he had just moved from Somerset to Waverly. He had also just enrolled in college, took up boxing, and was in the best shape of his life.

“On July 6 last year, my brother called my dad at about 5 o’clock in the morning and he said he was stuck. That’s all he said. He didn’t say what was wrong with the vehicle. He said he was going to try to call somebody that was closer, because Pike County is about two hours away from here. My dad tried to call him back several times and after that, the phone went dead. So we don’t know what happened. Since then, we haven’t heard from him,” Dyer said.

The family is offering a reward for any information about what happened to Rousch.

“We are offering a $5000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the disappearance and/or death of my brother and we’re pretty sure that he’s no longer with us because he hasn’t called and checked in and he always calls and checks in,” added Dyer.

If you have information about Rousch’s disappearance, you can contact BCI agent Jim Mulford at 614 935 9660.
