Perry Rape Hearing Waived

A Perry County woman facing a rape charge waived a preliminary hearing Thursday, giving the Perry County Grand Jury a chance to convene next month.

New Lexington police arrested Terri Hiles Dupler on Saturday.

According to Perry County Prosecutor Joe Flautt she is charged her with one count of rape against a minor.

Hiles Dupler will remain in the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail on a $100,000 bond.

She has also been ordered not to have contact with a juvenile under the age of 18.

Flautt says the grand jury will meet sometime in November.
