Pet of the Week: Meet A Husky Shepherd Ready for a Forever Home

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Animal Shelter Society is continuing their mission of finding forever homes for animals in need, and this week’s Pet of the Week is Willow.
Willow is a 4-month-old husky shepherd who enjoys adventures, long walks, and the company of human friends. With her affectionate and playful personality, she’ll be the life of the party in any household.
“She doesn’t mind car rides. She doesn’t mind cats. She doesn’t mind other dogs. She is a puppy and she’s a larger puppy. She’s going to make someone a great pet. We’d really like to see her with somebody that’s active,” Executive Director, April Gibson said.
The Animal Shelter Society is seeking donations to help ensure the well-being of the shelter’s furry friends. They are currently facing a great need for 13-gallon trash bags, liquid laundry detergent, and bleach to help keep a safe and clean environment.
“There are certain bleaches that we cannot utilize here because the concentrate isn’t correct. So, it cannot have any type of scent. Just regular bleach,” Gibson said.
If you’re eager to help, you can drop off your donations at the Animal Shelter during their regular hours of operation.
