Pet of the Week: Batman

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – If you’re holding out for a hero, the Animal Shelter has the pet for you.
Meet Batman, the ten-week-old kitten. Executive Director of the Animal Shelter Society Jody Murry said Batman came to them as a stray but has been a part of their foster program, so is well socialized. He said Batman has had his surgery, his shots, and is ready to be adopted.
“If you’re looking for a great little kitten this little guy is ready to be your superhero and ready to be adopted,” said Murry.
Murry said they are running a special for the month of October where cat and kitten adoption fees are only $31.00. He also wants to remind everyone of the upcoming auction on October 27th at the Zane State campus.
“Tickets are available,” said Murry. “We encourage people to get their tickets early, the last several years, it has been, we have been at capacity and have actually sold out.”
Murry said doors open at 5 p.m. and that dinner will be served at 6. He said they will have lots of unique items for auction and that tickets can be purchased at the animal shelter.
